Assuming all standard testing has been done per prior question (MRI/MRA or CTA brain), if there is an exertional or predictable trigger, Indomethacin is sometimes used prior to engaging in the activity which will often trigger the headache. If it is frequent enough, a daily preventive medicine is sometimes used. The typical preventives are the same as those used in other headache disorders such as migraine in terms of antiseizure, antidepressant/antianxiety (TCAs, SNRIs) and sometimes specific blood pressure medications.
