If there are specific activities that trigger the headache, that is often a conservative approach. Indomethacin is sometimes used prior to engaging in the activity which will usually trigger the headache. If it is frequent enough, a daily preventive medicine is sometimes used. The typical preventives are the same as those used in other headache disorders such as migraine in terms of antiseizure, antidepressant/antianxiety (TCAs, SNRIs) and sometimes specific blood pressure medications.
