Treatments most commonly include the typical meds used for other headache disorders such as chronic migraine. Gabapentin (Neurontin) and Amitriptyline are often first line options. However, other antiseizure, antidepressant/antianxiety (TCAs, SNRIs) are most commonly used the most likely to provide some benefit.
